My friend Noor who also happens to be the make up artist for all of my shoots said her cousin would be a great model (and she was!) so I came up with the idea of doing a shoot with her that incorporated the cherry blossoms. We didn't end up shooting it because the blossoms were all gone by the time we were ready to shoot. Instead we decided to just go out to some locations I scouted a while back and see what would happen.
Going into this I didn't have a vision of what I wanted. I really like to plan how the image is created (example: where the person is located, what it is in the background, the type of lighting/time of day) but this time we just went in and did it. This day was a good test of my ability to create something out of nothing and I'm extremely happy with how the images turned out. These two were so much fun to work with, as well!
Side note: It was the first time our model ever had a serious photo shoot done. Can you tell?! I sure can't. I think I'm pretty good at female posing though... #VOGUE
